Try at home recipe… Wild Garlic Butter
A delicious springtime campfire treat, using foraged wild garlic to make this favourite snack. Easy to make with your little ones and just as easy to make at home!
Ingredients
1 generous bunch of wild garlic roughly chopped
Heavy whipping cream (one that is not ultra-pasteurised work much more easily)
Clover or parsley (optional)
You’ll also need two or three clean marbles, a clean/clear container with a tight fitting lid, a wooden spoonMethod
- Pour the cream into the container and add the clean marbles
- Put the lid on tightly and begin to shake the contents up and down, and side to side.
- It will get lumpy and the whey (a watery, milky liquid) will separate out.
- Press the garlic and add to the butter
- Serve on warm crusty bread
- Delicious!
