Meet the Home Education Team!
Hello I’m Eve, and together with Ruth, we run the Home Education group. It’s an amazing place for children to spend time in nature, learn survival skills, cook over the campfire, play games, learn about the natural world, hear and create stories, make arts and crafts, play… and just be themselves! Between Ruth and myself we bring an eclectic mix of arts and crafts, theatre, music, circus, nature connection, play, and of course Forest school to this group. We are both excited to create a community… or a tribe… where everyone feels safe to be themselves and discover what it is they want to engage with from the activities and materials available. Each child can decide to pursue the things that interest them, to start /finish a project, to make a project over 10 weeks or 1. We are led by the interest of the group, but also have a structure to the day, so we can fit a variety of activities into our time together. We look forward to meeting some of you there!
We still have spaces available for you to join our small and intimate Home Education Group, based at our beautiful woodland camp in Ashcombe. You can find our more here.
