Meet the Wild Tots Team: Dave
Our Autumn Wild Tots term is almost coming to an end, so before the Winter Term begins, we’d love for you to meet another member of our fabulous team here in the woods… Dave. He tells us a bit about himself, his hobbies, and life with us in camp!
I’m an outdoors enthusiast who is into running, cycling, skiing, swimming, and have a mad obsession with climbing. These are just some of the reasons why I love living in Devon… maybe not the skiing bit though!
I have been volunteering at Wembury Marine Centre and Dartington Deer Park for the past two years and have found a great passion teaching children about the natural world.
Coming to A Touch of the Wild has been awesome, meeting amazing like-minded people; and a big thanks for such a great welcome from the forest school community.
I’ve really enjoyed helping out with the Wild Tots class this autumn and winter – lets face it, there’s nothing better than playing about in the mud for a few hours on a rainy morning.
Dave assists us with Wild Tots on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and also works with us at holiday club and birthday parties. He’s currently doing his Forest School Leader training, so we are hoping to see much more of him in the future!
