New Home Education Group

We’re starting a new Home Education Group in a few weeks time, and we want to tell you all about it!

Aimed at children aged 6 to 13 years, our Home Education sessions are designed exclusively for those that are home educated. We will be offering an all year round term time outdoor learning environment, using seasonal termly themes with an emphasis on learning through play and nature connection.  

This a child-led session that allows children to develop self-esteem and self-confidence through positive interactions and project based learning. Each day will have a focus of activities for children to get involved in, including campfire cooking, wood carving and whittling, archery, den building and construction, woodland art, crafts and sculpting.

Our experienced forest school leaders are on hand to provide a safe learning environment, whilst encouraging independence and creativity, and providing opportunity for mindfulness.

When: Mondays 9.30-3.30pm

Cost: £35 per day in 10 week block bookings. We offer a 10% sibling discount. 

How: Sessions are run by two experienced forest school leaders, with a specialism in Home Education/NQT, held at our secret woodland camp in Grammarcombe Woods.

We will be running a FREE Taster session on Saturday 16^th November 2019 and Saturday 11th November 2020 at 10-12. Booking is available online… come along and get a feel for what we get up to each week!
