Try at home recipe… Welsh Cakes
This week, our Wild Tots made Welsh Cakes… Give this recipe a go, and send in a photo for us to share on Facebook!
Ingredients
- 8 spoons of self-raising flour
- 4 spoons of butter
- 2.5 spoons of sugar
- pinch of cinnamon
- raisins
Method
- Crumble butter, sugar and flour together
- Add raisins or use them to decorate later
- Roll out and cut into shapes
- Cook for 2-3 minutes on either side in a greased griddle pan
- Remove from the pan and dust with caster sugar while still warm
